Born in the panhandle of Texas, Trey Dexter didn't see his tree-less landscape as a desolate wasteland, but a horizon of opportunity. Born and raised in the flatlands of Amarillo as the youngest son in the family. Amarillo brought its own versions of inspiration that would later root into the stories of his music. The panhandle winds would sweep him into the trees of east Texas. Tyler Texas would bring new perspectives and new communities. East Texas would be the pillow he called home while traveling through out America. Music has the ability to channel reflection, memory, and senses. With his music, you will find the horizon through the trees, spot a needle in a haystack, or even the wheat in the winepress.
